WHO IS GRANT LEVEQUE?

Sports journalism is a great way to showcase just how amazing and influential athletes are. The impact sports bring to a country or city is a bond that will never be replaced. My dream is to continue spreading the passion that flows within the world of sports and the fans who consume it.  

 

I have lived in Arizona most of my life, and I played many sports during my childhood and teenage years. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, exercising, playing basketball, and, of course, shooting any photography I can. I am open to trying new things and always want to take advantage of opportunities that come my way.

Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to beat-report for Casteel High School and Arizona State University while also shooting, interviewing, and editing sports packages for school projects and the sports bureau at Cronkite PBS News.

Now that I have graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Mass Communication and Journalism at Arizona State University, I am pursuing a career in photography and enjoying seeing life through my camera lens. I have been traveling the country for the past two years, leading my team of photographers and myself to some of the nation's biggest sporting events in the nation, such as the Man City Soccer Tournament in Del Mar, California, Surf Cup in Oceanside, California, and Target Cup USA in Minnesota. 

 

I edit my footage in Adobe Premiere Pro and Capture One.

I can use any model of a Canon or Sony broadcast camera for videography, and I'm efficient in using any Canon or Nikon DSLR/Mirrorless for still/action/product photography.
